The line work is awesome and really brings out the quirky humor of the whole piece. Animation is dandy. The whole drawing is cute and nothing dilutes the dark cuteness of it all, which is excellent. It's not so dark that you lose the light-hearted humor of the piece. Everything is organized well and the colors don't detract from the piece at all. Personally the first thing I thought of when I saw this was a quote I read somewhere (NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGENT INTENDED, O MIGHTY INTERNET LORDS):
"I give you this rose in the hope that you will not share its fate; cut down in the prime of your life and your corpse displayed as a sign of affection."
(I do not think that is proper semicolon use, but I could be wrong.)
